I started in this industry 27 years ago as a casual driver, moving on to arranging funerals, administration, funeral directing and managing.

We will show every family we look after, the same level of care, dignity and respect.

Regardless of which package/service chosen by a family for their loved one, we are proud to state that everyone who comes into our care is treated exactly the same and always with the utmost respect and dignity in every aspect.

Previous to Abercorn I worked as Senior Funeral Arranger since 2014 at Deery Funeral Services in Taylor Gardens, Leith.

Just please know that during your saddest and most difficult times, you can trust all the staff at Abercorn to look after your loved ones and you can feel safe in the knowledge that no other funeral business will care for them more than the way we genuinely do.

Abercorn is like my working family. We pride ourselves on the care, respect and attention we give to each and every person in our care and their families, just as we would our own.

I have been working in the funeral profession for the last 12 years and have worked in several funeral businesses including Barclays and Scotmid, however I now feel I am finally working with like minded people who are dedicated to ensuring the best care is provided for every person we are honoured to look after.

I left a nursing background to come into the funeral profession and I have absolutely no regrets. I started with Tom in my first post as a funeral arranger and have worked alongside most of the team here at some point on my journey. We are extremely proud of the respect, care and kindness within the company and give this to each and every family, treating everyone as we would like to be treated. It truly is an honour to be the last people to have the privilege to care for each person before their final goodbye.

I was a Funeral Arranger with Deery Funeral Services in Taylor Gardens, Leith before joining Abercorn.

I always aspired to work in the funeral profession but kept looking for a company that I could relate to and admire, however never managed to find this until I applied for the funeral arranger role at Deery Funeral Services, and now ultimately I am proud to be part of Abercorn who genuinely treats every person in their care with dignity and respect, just like we would a member of our own family. We also go above and beyond to assist their families and friends in the darkest of times.
