Edinburgh Piershill Cemetery

Rich in history and diversity

Our Piershill cemetery is home to Scotland’s first and only Pet Cemetery. We also offer our New Memorial Ashes Sanctum. We are proud to have been chosen by his family to take care of the late great Scottish boxing legend Ken Buchanan. The Great Lafayette Master Illusionist and his beloved cross-bred terrier, ‘Beauty’ were also laid to rest in our cemetery.
Edinburgh Eastern Cemetery

Honouring military service

Edinburgh Eastern Cemetery is home to many military memorials and commonwealth war graves of both world wars. A War Cross is erected near the entrance with a screen wall bearing the names of those whose 1914-1918 graves are not marked by headstones.
Crematoriums

Flexible cremation services in Edinburgh

We use the services of three Crematoriums in Edinburgh. For those wanting a simpler service, a crematorium-only service can offer this. They can also be used in conjunction with a more traditional funeral.
Warriston Crematorium

A legacy of distinguished service

Warriston Crematorium is Edinburgh’s oldest crematorium. Since 1929, Warriston has carried out the services and cremations for many distinguished people as well as many other Edinburgh people.
Seafield Crematorium

Serving Leith and beyond since 1938

Seafield Crematorium was established in 1938, with the aim of further enhancing the services they offered to the residents of Leith, Edinburgh and the Lothians. Seafield Crematorium has always endeavoured to sensitively change with the times.
Mortonhall Crematorium

Tranquil setting in a woodland haven

Mortonhall Crematorium is on the south side of Edinburgh in an attractive mature woodland, with the Stenhouse Burn providing a peaceful backdrop.
Woodland Funerals

Eco friendly farewells

Woodland funerals are becoming very popular in comparison to traditional cemeteries or graveyards. More people are opting to arrange funerals that have a low impact on the environment.
Binning Memorial Wood

A serene green burial haven

A peaceful and idyllic green burial site in the historic Binning Wood in East Lothian. The cathedral-like canopy created by the tall stems and arching crowns of the magnificent beech trees offers the bereaved a tranquil place to reflect and remember.
Hundy Mundy

An iconic resting place with scenic views

The iconic gothic folly of Hundy Mundy Tower occupies a framed gap on the crest of the hilltop woodland that takes its name. The woodland now serves another role as a special place of rest. Commanding views of the surrounding Scottish borders landscape are abundant.
